Information pursuant to the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG)

Thomas Markus Georg LIPP trading under the designation "Sylvarra-Arts", Moarhausgasse 2b, 5111 Buermoos, Austria — office@saphius.com. Responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with www.sylvarra.art and the Payhip shop linked to it.

What data we process

  • Order and customer data: name, email address, billing details, products purchased, time of order.
  • Payment data: processed by the payment service providers (Stripe, PayPal); we do not store full payment details such as card numbers ourselves.
  • Usage and access data: when you visit the website (e.g. IP address, date and time, pages accessed), to the extent technically necessary.
  • Newsletter data (if offered): email address and time of subscription.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Performing the purchase contract and providing the downloads — Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
  • Complying with legal obligations, in particular retention of invoices — Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
  • Secure and stable operation of the website — Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
  • Newsletter, if offered — Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent), revocable at any time.

Recipients / processors

To perform the contract we pass data to carefully selected service providers, including:

  • Payhip (shop and order processing) — Payhip, 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, W1W 5PF, London, United Kingdom
  • Stripe and/or PayPal (payment processing).
  • Website hosting: World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, 4020 Linz, Austria

Transfers to third countries

Individual service providers (e.g. Payhip, Stripe, PayPal) may process data outside the EU/EEA, in particular in the United States. Such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses or a valid adequacy decision).

Retention periods

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above. Invoices and accounting records are retained for 7 years pursuant to § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw any consent given at any time. To exercise these rights, contact office@sylvarra.art.

Right to lodge a complaint: you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
